Mrs. Sutiyah, making bricks as main income

Mrs. Sutiyah is from the Kowen Womens Group. She has made a lot of progress with her small businesses. She has two businesses with her husband. She makes bricks and her husband sells firewood. She has hired two people to help her make bricks every day. The bricks sell for $60 per 1000 bricks. Making bricks from mud is a long process. She makes a 1000 bricks a day. But they are unfired bricks that are not ready to use. To finish the process takes about a month. The bricks need to dry, and then are stacked for firing. The firing takes about 3 days. The fire needs to be continuously monitored day and night.
